"I own a rental property in Hillcrest that had several broken or cracked window panes.
Initially, called a different contractor, but he took almost a week to get back to me and then gave me an outrageous quote to do the work (almost $100/window). Called Hodges and had quite the opposite experience.
My first call to the business was friendly and efficient. I called on a Friday afternoon - a time when some lesser businesses are winding down for the week, but for this one, it was business as usual. A technician arrived the next Monday to measure the windows and work up a quote. Got the quote over the phone later that day, and it was very reasonable, especially compared to the rip-off attempt by those other jokers. Gave them the go-ahead, and the job was started a few days later and completed in a single afternoon. They left an invoice with the tenant, and I paid it by mail the following week.
The quality of work was excellent, and my tenants are happy, at least for a little while. Next time I have a glass problem, I will call Hodges first."
